Rev. Heather Let Go After She Refused To Come To Work
Need discussion about what to do. Do we look for a new Assistant Minister right away? Rev. Roxie (Marci) Benson would like the job. She could start in July 2016 and could work some Saturdays until then. Our new Rev. Kelly Hallock has expressed an interest and Rev. Tony has been communicating with her about this. He will report. Rev. Kelly did similar work for Inspire a similar ACIM organization. She has the skills but the reality of her being able to live in the Bay Area on the salary from the CMC is not very likely. Rev. Judy Junghans and Rev. Brad Pethoud have been coming in to do hourly work to help in the interim. It is helpful but not sufficient. The situation is not stable yet. More needs to be done.

It was agreed to develop an Employee Manual for the future employees who are hired by the CMC.

The Board discussed ideas about how to go about dealing with the current workload given that we are down one employee. It was agreed that we need someone with tech skills including email mass media marketing, website management, and the ability to help with the Conference workload. We need anyone who can come in and work until we get more help. Several Board members felt we should hire someone who lives in San Francisco due to the need to be at work on time and traveling to San Francisco is a time challenge.

New ACOL Class:
Rev. Judy would like to start teaching it on Tuesday 5-7 pm. Unanimous.
Motion: Offer a scholarship for every 4th student who wants to take the ACOL class. Approved The vote on the motion was 3 to 2.

2016 CYM, CTW Conference:
Technically, 356 now enrolled. Rev. Dusa Althea, and Rev. Tony visited Rio Casino in Las Vegas on Aug. 25, 26, 27 and they felt the Hotel was great and that people would really enjoy it. The list of Presenters is now finalized and a web page with all their individual pictures is up. There were extreme tech complications with a web site upgrade which slowed our official launch back. We launched unofficially. We have real issues to deal with here that are very time critical. People can still register but we do not get notified that they are registering. The website is not working and Rev. Tony hopes a new Joomla person will help us transcend the problems.

We Have Upgraded Our Web Platform:
After months of delay our web site was upgraded. It just went live on Wed. Sep. 30. There are still a few little glitches but Rev. Tony is working with our Joomla developer. We can now proceed with more robust Conference promotion. Please check out our new web site.

2017 Conference Planning for San Francisco:
Both The Hyatt at the Embarcadero and the Hilton on Union Square were too expensive to be feasible for a conference. Rev. Tony is now negotiating with The Holiday Inn on Van Ness. Things have been delayed because of his current work over load and lack of staff. A meeting needs to be held with their Catering Supervisor Ru Paster. Rev. Tony is concerned about signing a contract with the Holiday Inn given the current problems with the 2016 conference.

San Francisco Ordination held September 13, 2015:
Two new CMC Ministers: #88 Rev. Jesse Brune & #89 Rev. Kelly Hallock. 10 other CMC ministers took part.

Next Meeting Is Scheduled November 22, 2015 at 12:45 p.m.

Respectfully Submitted by Rev. Peter Graham, Secretary
