Update to CMC Website and Store

Rev. Tony has been spending a great deal of time upgrading the online store for mobile access. Rev. Tony proposed filing a fictitious name statement to change the name of the online store. A discussion was had and it was agreed to keep it the current name and forgo the rebranding. Officially: “CMC’s A Course In Miracles Store.”

Class Update – Paying teachers

Rev. Tony made the point that all teachers needed to have a Bank of America account to get paid. All the teachers either had one or were in the process of getting one. The current teachers are:

1)Rev. Tony, 2) Rev. Peter, 3) Rev. Vincent, 4) Rev. Marci, 5) Rev. Judy, & 6) Rev. Geri

The pianists are also paid this way.

CMC Associate Ministers

There was discussion to officially recognize Rev. Linda Chappo and Rev. Christine Yoffe as Associate Ministers as was discussed at the 134th meeting. It was also proposed that Charles Mawson be offered to be an Associate Minister once he is ordained. All three were so recognized. List of Associate Members will be put on CMC web site and otherwise made public information.

CMC Financial Situation

A discussion was held on ideas to help increase revenue for the CMC. Several ideas were discussed including: renting the CMC space to organizations that have a focus on personal and spiritual development, having a project based fundraiser, and exploring putting aspects of the CMC Sunday Service on the internet and allowing viewers to via a web interface. Rev. Peter and Rev. Judy agreed to be on a committee to research this as a possibility and bring their findings to the Board.

Meeting Adjourned at 2:00 p.m.

Respectfully Submitted,
Rev. Peter Graham, Secretary
